Founder Maria Montecinos Franjola brings 11 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and over 15 years of interior design expertise to MFD. Having lived and worked in London, Cape Town, Miami, and Toronto, Maria’s diverse cultural background deeply influences the studio’s creative direction. This rich foundation enables us to fuse design languages and cultural nuances into spaces that feel authentic, distinctive, and refined.
