Montecinos Franjola Design (MFD) is an international interior architecture studio founded by Maria Montecinos Franjola. Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with projects spanning from Sweden to London, Miami, and beyond, MFD brings a global perspective to every space we design.

 Our work is shaped by Maria’s international journey, having lived and worked in Miami, London, Cape Town, and Toronto – each city adding depth to MFD’s distinctive contemporary style. This diverse cultural influence is reflected in our designs, blending Scandinavian sophistication with a refined international flair.

Specializing in bespoke interiors for hotels, restaurants, bars, spas, offices, and private residences, MFD is known for creating spaces that balance timeless elegance with functionality. Every project is carefully curated with custom-designed furniture and hand-selected materials from the world’s finest artisans and makers.
